Kakert on recruiting



Thanks for posting. Always enjoy reading information about potential recruits. I do find it interesting that we offered the West Virginia punter. Knowing that Mullins (Mullings?) was not invited to camp makes me wonder if he will ever be on the field for Iowa. I remember his highlight video and the guy looked amazing ...

If he's not invited to camp, why would he ever play for Iowa? He had the slowest delivery in the world, it was bad. I was not surprised, and slightly relieved to hear he wasn't on the team anymore.

Mullings is still on scholarship and reported to team practice when classes started. At least that is what Kirk stated. No idea if he really reported.

Yes, Kirk said this on 8/13. On the first two deep released, Guthrie was listed as the only punter
