She just got drafted in the WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx. 3rd Round 26 Overall pick. Congrats to the Ex-Hawk!

Not a bad tag team, I'd say. Kach is also from Minneapolis, so it couldn't be a better fit for her! Congrats to one of the great Hawkeyes!

My daughter will be happy that a Hawkeye was drafted. She is a Lynx fan. Lindsay Whalen went to my daughter's school and she visited them last spring. Made quite an impression.

oh, and Maya Moore is a player. Should help turn the Lynx fortunes around. They had a ton of injuries last season...

Throw into the mix Lindsey Whalen, and Maya Moore. WNBA rosters only carry 11 players, so it is basically the first round picks that seem to make it. She was the fifth player taken by Minn. in the draft yesterday.

crap, they also took Angel Robinson, PG from Marquette with 22nd pick in the draft. She prepped in St Paul. Kachine will indeed have a tough time making the roster.
