Can we please stop saying JVB will be way better than Stanzi? Never understood where that came from. Yeah, he may have the physical tools but he doesn't appear to have it where it's most important - upstairs. He's seriously rattled right now by a not-very-good BXII team.

Stanzi was solid and he owned ISU.

I completely agree with you about the people calling for JVB over Stanzi being ridiculous. Its also pretty dumb to downgrade a QB vs another when they are playing with completely different players. If Iowa's 2010 defense plays today Iowa wins by 3 scores

Christenen's bad decision was to become a quarterback because it involved throwing the football.

I'm always astounded at our player development on the Offensive side and particularly the QB.

JVB looks like he has been 'coached' to stunt his abilities. He doesn't have the same velocity on the ball that I had seen from him prior. He seems to have a decent pass blocking line in front of him but I think the coaches are already screwed him in the head.

I know he is relatively new but he has started 4 games now and been in the program for how many years? This has been his team for the whole off season. I would expect him to be leading the offense and I see a true freshman deer in the headlights - THAT'S COACHING and not in a good way
