I tried to throw this into the off topic, but it wouldn't let me. Just curious what are some of the better apps for fans along with hawkeyenation in your opinions (hawkeye-related, of course).

I haven't found that many apps for Iowa, but I do have the Gazette's app on my iPad. I also picked up BTN2Go, on the off-chance that Mediacom finally decides to support that.

there is a hawkeyereport app, gohawks.com app, Gazette is a good one, then get ESPN Scorecenter and set-up your favorite teams to keep tab on scores while you are away. I've never found a Scout app...

Good for you. We all know Droid and Blackberry users are just a bunch of posers anyway.

I have some of the following:

Weather Channel App
Spotify - tells you how full a bar is, avg age, and % women. (good for bigger cities)
Google Earth
Urban Spoon - restaurant info galore
Hawkeye Report - if you're so inclined
Dragon Dictation - converts spoken words to written words somewhat successfully for texting.
