Here's my post from another thread on this.

Instant analysis:

Sokol will be a true junior in 2012. He plans to redshirt (giving him 2013 and 2014 to play) and compete with Rudock for the starting spot in 2013. He will most likely be the only QB taken this year. That gives Iowa a chance to make a big splash at QB in the 2013 class. Iowa's top targets in 2013 are 4-star Aaron Bailey from Bolingbrook, IL and #1 QB prospect Kevin Olsen, a 5-star out of New Jersey. I have read that two of Olsen's older brothers (including NFL TE Greg Olsen) took OVs to Iowa before committing elsewhere.

He much have watched the game last night and realized he would pretty much be able to be a functional ritard and still win the starting QB job next job.

Unfortunately, our HC is the same thing, and we will never see him play.....
