JO is #21 and the real story is #11 Wes Washpun who had a terrific game. Anyone know anything about Washpun's recruiting.

Does Bettendorf have a respectable team this year?

Washpun has a couple mid-major offers. He played on the same AAU team as Oglesby and Uthoff, so you know coaches have seen him. The question is why have they not offered?

p.s. Thanks for the video! Oglesby's shot is so smooth.

Josh didn't even hit rim on his three pointers. Iowa could use a good perimeter shooter on board next year.

Washpun was on campus with Oglesby a couple times, FWIW. Don't know if there is any interest from the Hawks...

Man, Josh has a sweet stroke. Definitely a nice get for Fran.

Wow! JO is something else. Obviously the kid can shoot it; it seemed like it just looped the video of him hitting 3's. I was impressed with his ball handling and passing. The kid is sneaky strong as it takes a great deal of strength to make some of the passes he made from the top of the key into the paint w/ that much zip. Great court awareness and vision on his passing. Love it!

I love how Oglesby is hitting from 2-4ft behind the arch. I think it opens his shot more because the guys guarding him dont think he would pull the trigger 2-4ft behind the line.

EDIT: I remember seeing Oglesby at the YMCA a few times when he was in 8th or 9th grade and he could seriously hit 15-20 3s consecutivley. I think he will be a big boost next year.

It's not even fair for those kids guarding him. He has too much length on them, he can just spot up whenever he wants to. He does have good court awareness too, I liked those passes a lot.

Does anybody know what his stats are last year and this year. I couldn't find them listed in terms of points, 3-point percentage etc.

I imagine this years stats will be quite different than last year just because they have only played 2-3 games. What I mean is his averages will be inflated/deflated this year compared to last depending on say he scored 20/25/30 in his first 3 games it would be roughly 25 as oppose to last years roughly 18ppg is based on a whole season. Wait til at least 10-15 games are completed you will have a better idea of his stats this year.
