Josh Jackson Goes In-Depth on Decision to Enter NFL Draft

Geez Rob, you could have guilt-tripped him a little bit by asking, "How do you feel about letting down all the Hawkeye fans for next year, particularly, homes, who always felt it was in his best interest for you to return?" It seems like you could have worked that one in there somewhere.

:) good one.

Rob, you threw the coaches out there for him to bite at it and he didn't. Kind of a loud silence.

Then there's this:

It's there. Players oft mention coaches. You even put it in front of him. Maybe it does mean nothing.

It also noticed that he did not specifically mention the coaches other than the S&C guys, and when talking about his development, he stated that just getting the reps was the most important part (which you could interpret as him believing had he gotten the reps sooner, he would have blossomed sooner).

But I am guessing it probably means nothing based upon the official statement posted by @homes above and the fact that Jackson invited both Ferentz and Parker to join him in the green room for the draft.

As an aside, has Ferentz been in the green room before?

As another aside, this recruiting piece by Landof10 has a bit about Jalen Hurt, a 3 start DE from Michicgan, getting the hard sell from Desmond King (Hurt is coached by King's old HS coach). It is always great to hear when the former players feel that strongly about their alma mater.
