Jon you might explain it but you can't defend it

This program is sliding and that is demonstrated by on the field performance. Kirk isn't doing as good a job as he used to.

Over the last 2 plus years there are big issues that will come home to roost if not corrected:
1. Continually increasing ticket prices, donation requirements and now a "reseating" coming up;
2. Poor on-filed product; and stupidist of all
3. Tailgating policies that will discourage people from coming to the game.

This could get really, really bad.

Nothing to get excited about......be patient. We're slowly working toward our once every 5 year's stellar season. It's coming, just hold on.

* Note - when you compete more and more with the MAC schools for your recruits you end up looking like them.

Now if we could just compete with them on the field.

How many times do I have to tell you. It is part of the normal 3 year down cycle. We are just in year 2. No need to overreact, it won't last beyond next year. Well, unless you don't like 3 year down cycles.

Just because it's worked out this way in the past doesn't mean it will continue to keep happening. I can't for the life of me see a head coach saying "were gonna be good for three years and then bad for three years" Also this is year 3 of mediocrity but I suppose you could say 2010 was an anomaly as it made no sense with the talent theyhad on the field.

Wouldn't this be year 3? 7-5 in 2010 (8-5 with the bowl win), 7-6 last year and at best 6-6 this year. I don't know about you but I expect more than 7 regular season wins from a coach making 3 mill a year. And I don't see next year being any better so you can throw that 3 year cycle out the window.

This year will be the 6th of the last 8 seasons with 7 or fewer regular season wins.
