Jon made a motivational and excellent point this morning on KXNO.

I get it for all of us attending the game on Saturday. Kinnick is a special place lets be loud and proud. We need to create another great atmosphere at Kinnick as each game now is critical.

That's what I have been saying. Who we are playing at home is irrelevant at this point, as only wins matter now. They team wont have any problem getting up for the OSU game, as its OSU. The crowd at Kinnick needs to act as though we are playing OSU every game and keep that type of enthusiasm throughout the game.

Thanks, Jon. I was thinking the same thing this morning. This team is giving fans a real treat this year (and heart attack(s)), and fans need to say thank you tomorrow by blowing that joint up.

P.S. How fun would it be to win the next two and then play great at Ohio, to the point that they beat up on the Buckeyes? Wow.

The last 3 games at Kinnick SHOULD BE insane!! It would be a major lift to the players to have that place out of control(I mean that in a positive way) could you imagine if that Minnesota game was to go to the........whoa whoa, I don't even want to discuss that yet...GO HAWKS!!

I have a feeling it will be. Its been three weeks since the last home game, so I think people will be excited to get back to Kinnick. Factor in the record and the unbelievable finish last week, and I think the place will be rocking.

The key will be to not get flat if/when we get out to a nice lead....

Ha nice...I subscribe to iowamarchingbandfanaticnation.com and the message boards are going crazy over there...theres rumors that the Timpani player has a bum wrist and the Maestro is taking some heat from the fans for the lack of sequins? on the uniforms and going with strapless hats this year...

Did you see the fourth trombone fall out of line during halftime of the Michigan game? I seriously about lost my voice yelling at him to get back in line. They should start selling pre-game and halftime only tickets for those of us who want to see the real action, the HAWKEYE MARCHING BAND. Who cares about the game?
