Jon, a few questions?

Do you still feel Lick will not be the Iowa coach next year?

If so, do you feel we lose any current players or recruits?

What key coaching characteristics do you feel we need to be successful at Iowa both with the current roster and long term? Do we need an experienced long time head coach or young up-and-comer? Mid-major coach or Large school coach/asst? What overall style of play: fast breaking or disciplined half court offense?

Do you have a list of coaches you would feel would be good fits with realistic chance of getting?

Names I like:
1. Josh Pastner-based on Lute's supposed recommendation. The Calipari connection does worry me some.
2. Brian Gregory- done well at Dayton. Knows Big Ten. Has recruited Iowas and Chicago area.
3. Buzz Williams- Marquette. Continued solid showing after Crean left and recruits Chicago.

First time poster, so sorry for the # of questions. Thank you.

Staz-Buzz is not a viable option IMO. None of his guys were contributors this season and his A1A guy quit before Thanksgiving...Still a few years away from knowing how he will do as Marquette is his first HC job.

In my opinion I like those names.. but I don't think any of them will stay long term. I would love Pastner... but as soon as a major program opens up. He is gone!

I think you have to bring back Iowa tradition. Keno (with assistance from Dad), Pearl, Lute (if you can coax him out of retirement).

I would love to see Pearl, but realistically if Lick is gone. Keno will be the top guy next year.

I like two of those names, too
