Just read this in Hilary Lee's preview of the bowl games. She claims that there are reports stating that jNW wanted the Ticketcity.com bowl instead of the Texas bowl because they would rather play Texas Tech than Baylor. Apparently they are so desparate for a bowl win, any bowl win, that this seemed like their best option. If true, this just reeks of a small-time program.
Wondering if anyone else heard the same? She claims there are other reports but I didn't feel like searching for them yet.
