Josey Jewell is the third Iowa player to earn Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week honors since 2004, joining former Hawkeye linebacker standouts Chad Greenway (9/5/04) and Mike Klinkenborg, (9/17/06).

Dude is a stud.. A lot of his tackles were on receptions by receivers too. The guy isn't just a run stuffer. Anyone willing to say best MLB Iowa's had during KF era??

I loved me some Hodge too. I just think Jewel covers more ground and is better against he pass then Hodge was. Hodge was second to nobody against the run though no doubt.
