Royce Alger's son, Jesse, is a junior OL at Dowling. Although his father wrestled at 167, Jesse is much larger at 6-4, 300+.
He camped at Iowa this year. Hawks are evaluating him and all the other OL.

Jesse is also John Waggoner's best friend.

A friend of mine, who was the captain of his college football team, will watch him this weekend and give me his report.

Yup. Big kid, still has some baby fat. Aggressive, very good run blocker, would have to play guard at the next level. Plays hard. I'm sure it helps him going against Wagner every day in practice.

Played football against Royce in high school. He was a slippery little running back who could stop on a dime, just can't imagine him being a father of a 300 pd lineman. Montgomery ya, he was a big dude!
