Jeff Brohm Has a Spring Football Plan

Interesting timeline..

I guess the players are anxious to get started, and starting games in Feb helps create a bigger gap between spring and fall seasons, but...

Unless there are plans to have no fans in the stands, I can't see why Big Ten fans would want any games played outdoors in Feb.

So my question would be how do the conferences regulate themselves or get things as close to normal in the event there is a fall and spring season this year. How do you create conformity or level the playing field of playing this fall/spring and then getting back together in the fall. Would that mean teams would essentially be practicing/competing all fall and all spring? Assuming there would be a fall season, would those teams then be able to extend their spring practices since the other conferences would be playing and will those looking to compete in the spring be practicing during the fall while the other conferences are playing?

I'm just not sure how I would feel about having both a spring and fall season.

February 27th Game at Kinnick. Is there enough alcohol in Iowa City to make sure everyone is ok with the temperature...avg of 34 degrees...that's the average. it could be much worse.

I think you move it back a month...play 8 games late march to late May. June is playoff games, etc. Start the 2021 season a few weeks late. No bye weeks.

LOL....just shut it down for the year. Like the schools (Governor) trying to shove it in to make it all financially work out for stake holders. The season is tainted already, keep the players safe, grant them another year, and get his virus under control. The sooner we do that, the faster things go back to normal.

If they want to play in the spring I was thinking the same thing, mid-march to mid-May, 8 games, no byes, in 8 weeks. May have to tweak it a bit depending on when schools have finals. Better for weather in my opinion.

Brohm must not stay in Indiana during January and February!!!

If the NCAA wants to have some bowls that is fine but no big off time just play the bowls the next week.

Natty Champ well 4 teams if they need to and do it quick with the next two weekends.
