Is Uhl and Jok the only 2 we have in the sophomore Junior class? Seems to me that a transfer underclassman/JC makes even more sense with this team

Depends on what you consider Baer and Charlie Rose. I'm not sure if Baer ever redshirted or not and I'm not sure either will ever be real contributors.

So with Ellingson redshirting and Trey leaving...1 junior (Jok), 1 soph (Uhl), 6 freshmen. JUCO or transfer seems like a need at this point.

Funny, I've heard good things about Baer, too. ANd I believe Fran has commented on his future potential with the Hawkeyes.

Dale Jones is on the radar. Sounds like a strong candidate. He is the size of Basabe, maybe a touch taller, who can drain 3pts at one heck of a clip.
I have not seen any video myself. But would like to see what this fella can do, besides shoot the ball...

If we're looking for any Juco transfers that play defense, I'd skip the trip to Ottumwa. You're not going to find it there.

I reckon Baer will get some minutes down the road. Fran likes him he's a real good boy. He needs to be stronger he is skinny as a earth worm. Jones is about a 90% done deal, if he don't keel no one on his visit he will be a Hawkeye.
