Janz looked like a 85-90% version of Persa

I said this multiple times to the guys I watched the game with. The defensive front four sat back because they were afraid of Jantz's scrambling ability, but it proved not to matter. Once a defender committed, Jantz made the defender miss, and then made a play. You might as well have replayed a tape of an IA/NW game w/ Persa at QB. Chalk up another Iowa loss to a defense that cannot stop a mobile quarterback. I continually found my self yelling at the television for the defense to run a delayed blitz. Every time I saw a delayed blitz the pressure got to Janz which forced a sack or bad throw. It's the only scheme that seemed to put Jantz in a uncomfortable position.

I sincerely hope - and yes, I mean this - Jantz continues to play like he did today for the rest of the Cyclones' season. At least it will make Hawk fans feel like they were beaten by a legit QB.
