Were you wondering how we lost out on this terrific RB? Well, according to his old Rivals profile he was a DE in HS and recruited by directional Michigan teams and Pitt. Iowa no where to be found. Being from Erie you would think Iowa would get a great look (Sanders).

Man would this guy look good in Black and Gold. Seems hard to miss a RB of his size for Iowa's system.

The Hawkeyes took Greg Garmon instead. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Kirk mentinoed it on the radio... believe it was Saturday in the post game. I'm not sure how it even came up but mentioned they don't focus in PA becuase of the low success rate.

He mentioned the tradition that Penn St has and how tough it is to get guys to leave the state.
