Izzo came out in support of MSU's President who allowed Nasser to work for 16 months after the start of a police investigation. He also made a really stupid comment.

Particularly problematic is this: "It’s been a very difficult week for me. As a father, it’s been a difficult week. I listened to the stories of courageous women. I look at the survivors who spoke and, in all honesty, Nassar permanently damaged and changed the lives of so many of those people. I feel like it’s changed the life of all of us at Michigan State in some way, shape or form. As a father, that’s difficult to even fathom. I hope the right person was convicted."

Then he goes on to support President Simon

Difference between Alford and Izzo is all Izzo did was poorly word something in today's PC world. Alford actually did that and more by having his actions supporting a kid like Pierce. I mean seriously just imagine if what happened back then did now. It'd be beyond nuts.
