Perfect coaching strategy from Tom Crean. Let's put Yogi on the hottest player in the B10 giving up 10 inches and 30 pounds. Ever hear of a match up zone Tom? You have a huge size disadvantage and he stays with man forever...and their man defense wasn't really disrupting us.
I'm pretty sure Jok was drunk in the first half and someone had WD40 on Olesani's hands, but we turned it on in the second half.

Ok, that sh*t about the WD 40 was great and spot on. I was fairly certainly that someone strung up some invisible fishing line on the left wing or some one spilled some clear scooby oil slick. It was that or Jok was on the Vegas payroll. Luckily that proved to not be the case because he was nothing but clutch down the stretch.

Indiana did that last year, I believe. We have not been very good at recognizing the post mismatches and exploiting them. We did an excellent job of that tonite.

Wisconsin did it last year as well I believe with Gasser on White many times down low, and we never got Whitey the ball.

It worked out ok tonight but from a pure bball perspective I'm still kind of annoyed that they even tried to gaurd our 4 whith a 1 and Iowa didn't make them change within 5 minutes.
I'd say we exploited it a few times. But not nearly as much as they could/should have. We need to work on feeding the post really bad... But I'm nitpicking some here. But only because If they would have been feeding White and Uthoff when they had the little guard on them we'd have had even more layups and free throws. Never the less quite a game by those guys. Was fun to watch.
