What world am I living in where Indiana University had one of the top RBs in the nation this year and is replacing him with a guy who rushed for 1,600 yards this year as a sophomore at UAB. How is it that Indiana's coaches had the foresight to go after this kid hard core, while Iowa (self proclaimed "OL U") who is known for its running game, started a 1 star fullback walkon for the past 3 years at RB and our best commit next year ran for 150 yards at prep school this year as the 3rd string RB on his team. It is one thing to see Wisconsin and OSU and Nebraska and Michigan to out recruit us for running backs. Hell, it would even be understandable if Minnesota, PSU, or MSU snagged a stud RB and we didn't. But when it's Indiana, it becomes clear that something major needs to change with our recruiting. Just five years ago we had guys like Melvin Gordon interested in us with memories of Shonn Green fresh in our minds. Now, Iowa is an afterthought in recruiting at every position except in state small town OL.
