It's Time for Insight Predictions

We all know the situation that faces the Hawks. We all know it is an uphill battle but now is the time to make your game prediction.

If it is close in the last half of the 4th quarter I'll take Iowa.
If it is a thumping then the Sooners win.

I actually feel we will do better in the running game than is expected due to Coker's suspension.

Since I started the thread I'll say Sooners will cover the 14 point spread and walk away with a victory. 36-20
 
I think one of our RB's will take one to the house on a long run. I also know that with this Iowa team anything is possible this year.

I have no idea if we will get blown out, blow them out, or play a one possession game. Here's to hoping Vandy plays as well or better than Jones...if that happens, Iowa 33 OU 24.
 
I will drink whiskey and eat bbq. Thats for darn sure.

I just don't see anyway that Iowa's defense is able to contain Oklahoma. I think the Hawks will score some points and may even keep it close for a while, but ultimately I think Oklahoma pulls away and wins by two TDs. Hopefully I'm wrong. Go Hawks!

Iowa has been exceedingly poor in "tight 4th quarter" situations in recent history, so I'd pick a loss if it comes down to that.

If Iowa starts fast (which they usually seem to do in bowl games) and builds a sizeable lead early, like 2 scores or so, then Iowa may win this game. See last year's Insight Bowl.

But I think I have to take OU in this one:

OU - 34
Iowa - 24
 
OU 38
Iowa 21

Our defense isn't good enough and I don't trust our O away from home and w/o Coker. I hope like hell I'm wrong!
 
I have to appreciate those that predict Iowa to win. Obviously that is my hope as well. I do think there is an outside possibility of a Hawk win but the stars need to line up correctly for that to happen my opinion. If KF pulls this together with all that has happened I hope posters get off his butt. His bowl prep since losing in the Orange bowl has be outstanding.
