ITS REAL HARD TO BE OPTIMISTIC

At this point we are arguably the worst team in the big ten coming off a convincing loss to a team with almost no talent. Volunteers look to maybe playing their best ball of the year?
While I was watching the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid last night something the sheriff said to them kind of reminded me of the next game. "you are going to die bloody and all you can do is choose where" I hope they come out and give it all they have and I expect they will, but I just dont think this team can beat anyone at this point.

Win or lose I can't wait until Wednesday. It will be great to finally see this team playing in the NCAA tournament. Even if they do end up losing it is still a big step in the right direction. But let's hope for the best and maybe this team will surprise us.

So the Hawks played badly down the stretch.... So they have to play a first round game..... None of that matters now....they are IN the NCAA tournament! It has been too long, and I am pumped. Win or lose...it is great to be back. And this will serve as a great building block and motivator for next season.

They broke through, not like we expected, but Iowa has punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. Nothing else matters now. Maybe Iowa will make some open jumpers and the opponent wont shoot a ridiculous percentage for once.
