Its Official... Nebraska fans are dellusional!
This coming from a Omaha World Herald fan poll! And Husker fans believe they will go 8-4 in Frosty’s first year!

That was good ... for a laugh. Thanks. Nebby fans think 8-4 or 9-3 because @Michigan is a coin flip at 50.6% giving the Fighting Jims the nod.

This is weighty from the writer,

“Iowa coaches barely hide their disdain for Nebraska.”

(Hey, you guys started it. Now you can choke on it.)

and

“Nebraska is a year or two away from putting a full scare into the best teams from the Big Ten East, but Iowa isn’t a bridge too far.”

(Props for getting that correct. Iowa isn’t A Bridge Too Far. Iowa has The Bridges of Madison County. So come November... get off our lawn punk.

So, all the games they lose will be really close squeezes. Lolol.

I keep hearing about how hard their schedule is...especially from nebby fans....yeah...wisc, osu, msu, mich are tough matchups....Its called a B1G schedule.

They still don't get it. But they will...eventually....maybe.

F nebby.

Wait just a cotton pickin' minute. Frank Solich got fired because he only won 9 games a year. Bo Pelini got fired because he only won 8,9 games a year.

Now 8-9 wins is the expectation? Where's the outrage with only winning 8-9 games this year? And what will they do about their dreamboat coach if he falls short of that mark? Can't wait for the rationalizations coming out of Lincoln when that happens.

I know that Fantasy Football is just around the corner for many, but for Nebraska fans, it's already been going on for quite awhile.

LOL...they were talking about how crappy Colorado's defense was and why they will win. Nebraska gave up 36.4 points a game last year...116 out of 129 in scoring defense. It's like they just forget about reality. Every one of those matchup summaries should say something about, if our defense can get off the field. Ohio State hasn't punted against Nebraska in 6 years...yet these idiots have it being a close game in Columbus.

"Nebraska is still a year or two away from putting a full scare in the best teams from the Big Ten East, but Iowa isn’t a bridge too far." Nebraska 24 - Iowa 21

This quote is just hilarious. Iowa has beaten Nebraska 96 -24 the past two years and they have been physical beatdowns. Iowa has won 4 of 5 and the one Nebraska win was the result of getting four gift turnovers, two in the red zone, and giving Nebraska 14 points on two punt returns in the second half.

I'm sorry, but until you stay in the game late in the third quarter...maybe the bridge is too far.

I love that Nebraska is five years removed from anything close to relevance and about to run schemes on both sides of the ball that have a low chance of success in the B1G yet still gets speculation like this without playing a single down of football with a new Group of Five coaching staff at the helm. I really wonder what gives them hope that Frost can even top Pelini. I’d have full faith if Nebraska were making a move back the Big 12, but until then I don’t see it.
