Its almost Noon, Rich Rod been fired yet?

If Michigan thinks they can get Harbough from Stanford they need to get rid of RichRod. He would be the guy that can return them to what they want the way they want to do it. It just seemed liked a doomed marriage when it started. The main thing they need is a defense though.

Harbaugh is not the answer for Michigan, the fans love him and have hated Rich Rod from day one. I guess they wanted Les Miles, a guy that has no character and Rodriguez wasn't good enough.
David Brandon is going to announce later this week and it will be no surprise if Rodriguez is gone. Brandon played for Bo and so did Harbaugh, the whole "Michigan Man" mantra hasn't worked out well for Michigan having won the National Championship in 1996 and not competing for one since and how many years was it before then. Bo came up with the "Michigan Man" line, but how many Nat'l Championships did he win coming from Miami (OH) to Michigan? The philosophy is nice and dandy, but the results haven't been what I think Michigan fans think they were. Bo brought a lot to Michigan, except a smooth transition and one great season since he left. Michigan has been consistently out-recruited by multiple teams in 20 years and the on-field results show it. If the links of Brandon/Harbaugh to Bo are what matters to the fans, then so be it, good luck.
Here is an article on Brandon's descision time-line:

Rumors are Pitt, Maryland, and Clemson from what I have read.

Could you imagine the stir that would be caused if he ends up at Pitt? I think it is very doubtful he lands there, something tells me he ends up out of coaching for a year or a smaller upstart, too much bad publicity in the last three years. Did Clemson fire their coach?
