It's a process- but you can't lose like that, right?

We went from 1 week ago this team is SO FUN to watch..... to a drubbing on the road where we gave the reasoning that we should expect that on the road........ to losing to Northwestern like that at home?

Wow. You expect peaks and valleys - more valleys- with a team and program in this situation......

Northwestern has NEVER been to the NCAA tourney. They can't even win an NIT game for god sake.

And we get drubbed like that? at home?

I'm not worked up about it...... but isn't it okay to expect more than that?

Or....given the circumstance, do you have to turn your cheek the other way until year 3 under Fran to be fair?

I agree, I feel like they have taken a HUGE step back. Two beat downs in a row after a game that gave us hope. This could be a long year, but I am still hopeful we will see some improvement, and maybe, just maybe suprise someone this year. But tonight was hard to watch, I really really want to like this team, but I don't know how many more games like that I can take.

Something has happened to this team over the last 2 games. I mean, I would not expect wins over Purdue and Northwestern this year. However, I would have hoped we would have brought the effort and improvement that we had saw out of this team (each and every game this year) heading into the Purdue and Northwestern games. Instead of the young promising team that looked like it was building something, they look as lost and as bad as they have ever been. They look at least as bad right now as the blowout losses to end Lick's last regular season Big Ten campaign.

It is very disappointing to say this. I'm keeping the faith, but I think Fran's job just got that much harder in getting this team back and winning the fans faith back again.
