It seems to me with Iowa's offensive scheme

That we must be physically superior to the opposition in order to move the ball...

no counter plays, no traps, no quick hitter type pass plays to keep the defense at bay...
I don't think nw is better than anyone yet they win half or more of their games ....
If we had their personnel ... we would be one and whatever.

Not sure the offensive schematics aren't a big problem

Perhaps it looks a lot better when we have a veteran o line but that is only one every three to four years...

I'm sure someone knows or will go look but has Iowa (under KF) ever had an offense that finished above 4th or 5th in the B10?
in my opinion our offense has always been mediocre
