I agree with Charles Barkley.....Syracuse needs to make defensive adjustments....the bulldogs are making 3s to easily on Syracuse's 2-3 zone. Extend it out, or play some man. On offense, pound the ball inside more....don't settle for forced jump shots.

Bad calls down the stretch against Ashville, but you can't have your top scorer shoot something horrible like 1-13 and expect to win.
I think with the talent spreading further out into the mid-major college game and more and more blue chip power 6 conf players going pro way early, that we could finally see a #16 knock off a 1 in the next 5 years.
Obviously that wasn't a problem 25 years ago, but I think its going to happen soon.

The ref getting the blame for punting the out of bounds possession call is Ed Corbett, who primarily works Big East and ACC games but also did four in the Big Ten, incuding Iowa's 72-65 win over Wisconsin in Madison. The rest of the crew was Glenn Tuitt who mostly works in the Sun Belt and SWACC and Eric Curry, who primarily works in the Mountain West and Big Sky and gets a relatively low ranking of two of five stars at StatSheet.com. (The other two officials get three stars.)
