Check out the Indiana boards and media. They are not talking about Iowa but whether or not to keeep their coach. This appears to be the typical Indiana fans attitude. Excerpt from a thread.

It is true we have lost to some Indiana teams in the past. Those teams had players like Randle-El and Hardy. This Indiana team has nothing like them and is in meltdown mode. A loss to these guys would be one of our worst loses ever. So lets make sure we do our part and get loud and proud at the game on Saturday.

Found this list interesting. It is a list of all of Indiana's Coaches winning % since like 1947. This is what you think we should worry about on saturday? check out the Great lee Corso's record. People regard that guy as an expert?

In terms of winning percentage...ReplyBill Lynch (.424, 14-19) is currently the second-winningest IU head coach since Bo McMillin. Since McMillin left in 1947, the list looks like this:

Bill Mallory .473
Bill Lynch .424
Terry Hoeppner .391
John Pont .380
Lee Corso .378
Phil Dickens .333
Cam Cameron .327
Bernie Crimmins .289
Sam Wyche .272
Clyde Smith .236
Gerry DiNardo .229
Bob Hicks .111

Just some info for any debates

Didn't the university just give him one of those dreaded votes of confidence?

Link above cites a story that requires a subscription, but it sounds like 2 more years...

I actually think Lynch is a decent coach. Don't know what he was thinking though going for it on fourth down rather than kicking the field goal to make it a 5 point lead against NW.

Let's help the IU AD or Prez write that buyout check! The Hawks need to put it on the Hoosiers. NO MERCY Kobra Kai dojo style...sweep the legs Johnny...
