Just a microcosm of Iowa football under Kirk Ferentz? So many things about this season just seem like the norm to me.
Check this out:
-Underperforming high preseason expectations (we've seen that several times)
-Unexpected highs (Michigan/ Neb wins)
-Losing games we shouldn't (NDSU)
-Strong D/ Anemic offense
-Zero wide receiving threats
-Head scratching decisions (not redshirting Stanley, not changing the starting lineup, squandering a strong recruiting class)
-Outrageous salary/ contractct decisions
The list goes on but I won't bore you with all the little ones.
8-5, Outback Bowl runner up. To me this season is Iowa football under KF.
