The 4 star safety has announced his intentions to transfer from Ohio St. He has two years eligibility remaining and he may have enough of his academics in order to be immediately eligible AND still have a redshirt year still available. If some of you guys following recruiting, he is the son of a former Iowa Hawkeye and was heavily recruited by the Hawks. I hear he and his father are very interested in the Hawkeyes and what they can offer. I think he would be a decent get if not for anything else but for depth and competition at a position where we could use it.

I guarantee he’s being evaluated very closely by Iowa staff. However no way do they make any moves mid season. Can’t shift the focus from what’s happening on the field.

The next bye week is the week before Wisconsin. I'd hope the staff would be working the game plan rather than concerning themselves with trying to get a transfer safety (which we turn out by the dozen anyway).
