Is UI still having Carson King at the game Saturday?

Just wondering. He may have posted some bad crap 10 years ago but he did a really good thing with this money.

I think Anheuser Busch somewhat dumped him.
 
I really wonder if this story is going to be the beginning of the end of cancel culture. People are getting sick of it to the point where it's bad business to dump on someone over old tweets. Also the people who started the trend is started to get affected by it so they need to so something fast to reverse it. I'll be happy to see it go. No way ol PCHawk will be getting a job in the limelight anytime soon.

How do you come up with this stuff. You've always been an idiot troll ..idiots.trolls... But you are getting worse. Pulling donations from sick kids is bad PR. Worse PR than pulling it.

Cancel culture is made up. There are consequences for what you say and do, always has been and always will be.

They didnt pull donations from sick kids. Bush is honoring it. The register is in big trouble over this for what they did.
 
I think CK received tickets from Iowa season ticket holders.

In that sense, UI is not having him. The Hawkeye fans are.

Except that context is always left out by the cancel culture warriors. Context like the age when someone did something, thoughts like we all make mistakes, failure of cancel culture warriors to look at themselves and how their views could be seen as hateful to others, etc.

Yeah I thought they planned on honoring him at some point, announcing him on the field. Has anyone heard anything about this? I hope the UI goes through with it.

I have no beef with the kid, but I'm kind of ready to let everything fade away regarding this (other than I hope the DMR keeps getting wrecked).

Between this and the band stuff I just wanna have football and not get distracted by Busch Light, band assaults, boycotts, Carson King, or Aaron Calvin. Let's just play ball.

I'd like for the kid to get a standing ovation for what he's done for the Children's Hospital and THEN let it fade away :)
