I thought the crowd was ok today but come on. Several times in the 2nd half when we stretched the lead out it was like the crowd was just waiting for the collapse. The place should have been going nuts at times but oh well I guess that will come. Oh, and this game was no fluke. We are a better team than Michigan.
 
It's much like going to a Timberwolves game now. Both programs have struggled in the past few years and are starting to come around and head in the right direction.

The fans at Twolves games are similar to what you're describing. It's like no one is used to cheering.

I really hope I can catch an Iowa basketball game again at carver in the near future. I think Fran will definitely change the culture of Iowa bball and our fans will really get invested in the team.

Agree, especially with the last part. Michigan was cold shooting at times, but by no means did the Hawks play over and above themselves or get all the breaks. I think we're coming together, and should be competitive on most nights.
 
Best seats I've ever had there. I was jumping out of my chair in the 2nd half thinking others around me would follow suit. It wasn't even close to being full(but decent crowd) and hardly any students there at all.

It was a good game. I watched the last two episodes of Justified Season Two this week. The new season starts Tuesday evening following the Hawkeye victory at Purdue. Should be an excellent night.....

agree 100%

The crowd today was not bad, but given the performance I just expected a little more. Also, I have seen it in Carver for 20 years, but it still depressing how many fans leave early. I understand some people have to, but the swarms of fans leaving with 1-4 minutes left during a great win is lame.

What? I thought it was tomorrow! The 15th... Whew I'm relieved. In Des Moines and didn't know if I'd make it back to watch it. I need to watch season two over. I'm surprised they weren't replaying it before restarting the season.

The crowds and the excitement level will come. I think fans were still reeling a bit after the back-to-back blowouts. The OSU crowd was stoked ... at least for most of the first half.
