The "Golden Age" of Iowa Football? After watching 'Bama ROMP ND, which ended up really being an exhibition of how a "real" football team performs, I realized that no way, not in the very best of years could a Ferentz lead Iowa team even stay on the same field with Saban and whatever he coaches, even if it's the Campfire girls. Yea, we got lucky with some broken coverage in Orlando, but a 2 out of 3 vs. Saban would have Gary Dolphin saying "oh my gawd, I can't believe what I just saw" when a Saban lead LSU would of rick-rolled us
Saban makes $5mil a year......Ferentz is at $4mil....
At $5mil, Saban is a 3 out of 4 NC (plus the LSU days)
At $4mil, Ferentz can't even crack .500 in the B1G
As the late great Jim Reeves crooned "is it really over?"...it never begun for the Ferentz era.
But....to keep you 'bators' going, give me your kool-aid reason why Ferentz should stay
