Is it good that Brian blew up?

Bear with me. I don't think that Brian had the typical 15 minute disciplinary meeting with his boss. My guess is the reason why Brian was so angry over something so little was perhaps a larger topic and one that was had with boss and dad. Perhaps Brian felt dad was hurting his chances at the HC job. Perhaps Brian asked him "why did you promote me if you were not going to let me do my job?"

Maybe this was a fluke and nothing happened/change with the overall dynamic of Iowa's offense. I guess we'll see.

Iowa had a good gameplan with the Tight Ends vs Ohio State, but what really shocked me was that they were able to run the ball up the middle effectively. I'm not sure if Iowa changed something or if Ohio State just didn't sell out to stop the run like every other team does against us.

Either way our Tight End play should scare the shit out of Wisconsin.

If you look at those runs up the middle, unless I'm really missing something....those were man-on-man/assignment blocking running plays rather than an inside zone blocking scheme. Someone with more expertise in this area should chime in....

Don't think it's necessary to do what he did. However, all families have their dynamics. Can't stand it when my wife raises her voice at me outside. My kids do it and I laugh at them. Maybe he really was yelling at his papa.

I just seem to remember most teams sending 6 guys immediately on 1st down to blow up the run, and Ohio State didn't do that. They kinda sat back and let Iowa do what they wanted to do and paid for it. Ohio State got kinda cocky thinking their DL was better than our OL (which it is) and could sit back in base defense.

However, because of the Ohio State game, going forward teams are going to have to key on the tight ends and play-action pass more, which is great for Iowa.

Yeah, to be clear, I don't think it was good that he did what he did and that he chose that target. I've had some good bosses and if I ever did whatever the equivalent of that would be at my work, those good bosses would be asking, "what is actually wrong?"

That's why I"m self employed. Guess I never found a good boss!. We'll maybe one.
