Is CC funding WBB NIL?

Read an article online suggesting that Caitlin has been 'anonymously' funding at least some of the WBB NIL, helping us go after these 5-star recruits.

It seems lately that half the stuff I read online is AI generated where you can only believe about half of what you read. Still, this is a thought I'd had on my own before reading anything about it.

Would CC really do this? She evidently has plenty of money but is she so generous she'd throw a bunch of her own money to help out WBB?

Somehow, I think she would.

Saw the below on Facebook posted under a group called WNBA Today:

THE NIL GAME IS OVER: CAITLIN CLARK IS REPORTEDLY PULLING UP TO RECRUITS' LIVING ROOMS AND OUTBIDDING BLUE BLOODS, MAKING IOWA THE NEW COLLEGE BASKETBALL MONSTER.

Forget traditional recruiting pitches; imagine the impossible scenario of trying to tell Caitlyn Clark "no" when she's sitting across from you at your kitchen table, a living legend actively campaigning for her alma mater. One insider source close to the Hawkeyes’ recent run of success described the current recruiting environment as a sheer force-of-will landscape, suggesting Clark's reported anonymous donations to the program's NIL fund are so substantial they could single-handedly finance deals that attract the nation's most coveted young athletes. The speculation that she could transform an entire roster with her "pocketbook alone" is terrifyingly real for every other program vying for the same talent. This isn't just a feel-good alumni story—it's a calculated, strategic move that leverages unprecedented personal star power and financial weight, forcing a paradigm shift in how programs acquire talent and threatening to dethrone the perennial champions.
