I was just doing some quick math and it looks like 12 more points and the hawks are undefeated, 12 less points and they are 6-6 going into the bowl game. Not sure what that means or if my calculations are correct, but thought it was interesting.

It was the same last year. Pitt by 1, NW by 5, Illiinois by 3, MSU by 3. Up until the Penn State game last year, Iowa hadn't won a close (1 possesion) game since 2005.

With the returning talent that is coming back, there is no reason to think that Iowa won't have success in close games next year. They've been there, done that, and know how to handle it.
