Iowa's path to the Dance

I think it's back on the table after last week. I also think that the committee won't "throw out" the Eastern IL game, but they will definitely take into consideration that our All American was injured and did not play.

Currently 2 and 3 in B1G play

Michigan at Iowa - W - 3-3
Maryland at Iowa - W - 4-3
Northwest at Iowa - W - 5-3
Iowa at Ohio State - L - 5-4
Iowa at Michigan St - L - 5-5
Rutgers at Iowa - W - 6-5
IL at Iowa - W - 7-5
Iowa at Purdue - L - 7-6
Iowa at Minnesota - W - 8-6
Ohio State at Iowa - W - 9-6
Iowa at Northwestern - L - 9-7
Iowa at Wisconsin - L - 9-8
Michigan St at Iowa - W - 10-8
Iowa at Indiana - L - 10-9
Nebraska at Iowa - W - 11-9


The team needs to take it one at a time, us as fans can always speculate. I gave them holding home court the rest of the way and also sneaking one at Minne. That would be enough in my opinion and anything extra in the B1G would just help our seed. They could sneak another couple on the road, or they could lose one at home but I think winning 10 or more will get them in and I think it's a very good possibility they can pull it off.

It's not as far fetched as I thought it was last week.

After these last two games I guess it's fair to say anything is possible and we aren't out of it. But our margin for error is razor thin... Get hot and stay hot...
