Iowa's offense may not be the worst in the Big Ten

sparty got to the bowl exclusively on Defense. Throughout the season I wondered how Iowa would do against them.

They held purdue down and they held PSU's points down as well. I figured Iowa would too...but nope.

What happen to LJ Scott? I know he was/is a bit of a knucklehead off the field, but that guy was suppose to be the man after B1G title game 3 years ago.

If Dantonio's on the hotseat then they must have a hell of a lot higher expectations than Gary Barta does for Kirk Ferentz.
Since that epic game ending drive to defeat Iowa in Indy in 2015 Dantonio is 20-19.

I don't need to look up Ferentz to know our record is better over the same stretch.

Dantonio would be on my hotseat and I know their expectations are higher than 20-19

Dantonio's record the last 2 years is better than Kirk's. Is Kirk on your hotseat?

That's fair. Dantonio had a nice bounce back from his 3-9 2016 to go 10-3.

We could whittle this down and say Kirk has a better record since the 2018 regular season ended.:)

But that could all change by tomorrow at this time.

Is the B1G really 2-3 in bowl games now? That's starting to piss me off! Not getting a team into the playoffs should have knocked everyone down a peg. Instead I see mighty Michigan getting abused by a three loss Florida team. Sparty leaving their offense in East Lansing. And Purdue leaving their whole team in their athletic director's coach extending checkbook.

Just not the same level of talent up here in the north. Some programs start with more talented players and develop them from there. Iowa does not have a monopoly in player development

Conveniently leaves out their 3 win season. I’d prefer Iowa’s steady 8-4/8-5/9-4 than MSU’s 3-9/10-3/7-6 but that’s me.
Do you really want me or someone else to bring up their records at their respective schools? It's not gonna look too good for ole "that's football."

Records are only relevant as a frame of reference. You have to look at who’s being played. Just like tom davis, kf is a master at padding wins over no one

If Dantonio's on the hotseat then they must have a hell of a lot higher expectations than Henry Tippie, Ted Pacha, and Bruce Rastetter do for Kirk Ferentz.
Fixed that.

Tippie alone endowed Barta’s position for $5 million last year. Farta’s gonna replace Ferentz when ol’ Hank and Bruce are goddamned good and ready.
