Heard the report that Jade's knee will require further surgery, which will take her out of action for this coming year. Sad to see another injury take her out. Watched her play all through high school. She is a great kid and hope that she can come back from this latest set back and contribute, but also have a set of knees that she can get around on!

It is too bad that the women's program loses yet another player. Seems that lately that they have had their fair share of season ending injuries.

@NewMexHawk--There are been a number of studies looking at the structure of the female body and how it relates to knee injuries. There are several ladies on the Iowa team that have had major knee injuries and came back from them. We hope that Jade can join that list.

Still much deeper this year. Obviously Sam Logic will be great. Virginia Johnson I think is going to be the big surprise, she is nuts athletic. Theairra Taylor is back and hopefully her knees hold out, but this team I think could be the best in a very long time.
