On Feb. 16th Iowa was projected to be in the first four out. Since then they have beaten 2 teams projected to make the tournament. The teams listed as last 4 in are -
Purdue - Iowa beat them and they have a game against Rutgers left and an easier one against Wisconsin.
Temple - who has lost twice since then (although one loss was to UConn) they have 2 more tough conference games and a third game against the last place team.
Kansas St. - has lost one game and has 3 left Baylor, Iowa State and Oklahoma State. Probably at least 2 losses. Iowa State could do us big favor and win.
N.C. State - will probably win out and secure their spot.
New projections should be out Wednesday and Iowa well could move up. At this point if we win out and win 2 conference tournament games we could be in. Congratulations on a big win today a real team effort.
