Iowa beat the Italian Select Dream Team 84-52. I don't have the stat sheet available, but I read that Whitney Jennings had a big day, and that it was hot in the gym they were playing in so they were substituting players a lot. Congrats to Iowa, and to all the freshman who saw their first playing time as a Hawkeye. Job well done!

Just curious - the article said everyone who was available played. Did not see any word on Tania Davis. Is she unavailable and if so why? Thanx for any info.

Tania is pictured and in uniform she is #11. I assumed she played but the writer just left her name out of the players that played their first game list. I will check with her about this, and get back to you.

Correction: I was just talking with one of the players. Tania did not play. However she is healthy and traveling with the team. I tried messaging Tania too, she must be having too much fun on her trip to spend much time in social media.
