Iowa Well Positioned for Drake Stoops Following Official Visit

Iowa made a good impression on legacy recruit Drake Stoops during his official visit this weekend. He spoke with HN about it:

He's got some wheels, would be a nice get on the wr/punt and kickoff return.

Oklahoma is still in the picture for him.. The scholly factor isn't one since he'd still be going there for free if he goes there. I don't think it's a slam dunk he becomes a Hawk. I think he'd be a perfect fit in Easleys role and it'd be pretty awesome if he'd come but I'm not holding my breath. It'd be tough decision for him to leave home I would think.

True. He'd certainly get to see the field sooner at Iowa if even were to see the field at OU. He'd probably be a RS Jr by the time he did there and that's if they'd use him like Iowa uses Easley. Why not come to Iowa RS learn from Easley and then play your RS Freshman year most likely in his role with a senior QB?
