i doYou live in Council Bluffs?
How did they play football on the field that is higher at one end than on the other?View attachment 3365
Ha! I am not sure, I am not a native, only been back here for about 5 years and don't hit a lot of HS FB. Who's field is that?
The next level! You have to wonder if Iowa pushed for this or Nebraska or both. Probably both and we know why.
It's a park now up in the bluffs near downtown. Not sure who used it. I'm guessing it's about 3 feet higher at one end. Just curious about it. The walk bridge across the river is pretty cool.
Maybe Omaha can bring back Ak-sar-ben. There's an iconic photo on the wall of every business in Omaha taken from the horse track of a live tornado in the 72nd street neighborhood. I always associate that tornado with Ak-sar-benThat's so crazy tho, I am gonna look into it. There isn't a ton of cool in CB, but it's not nearly as bad as the rap it gets. The Casino's have dumped crazy money into the community and that drives the Nebraskan's nuts (though their the ones dumping $$$ into the casinos). It works well for Iowa in general.
If Miles keeps being in grad transfers and regular transfers like that George Mason point guard those are going to be two likely losses on the schedule. Fourteen months ago I had Miles fired. Now he looks like he knows what he is doing.Set to play twice a season moving forward. While I would have loved that to be sexier but I have to say, for us SWI peeps, this is great news. I get to see Iowa hoops forever once a year with less than an hour drive.
Well done. Very well done. You would think that we should've taken a look at where Nebraska is as a program before deciding this
