Iowa’s Oct. 16th football game at Michigan will start at 2:30 p.m. (Iowa time) and will be televised by ABC. The announcement came today from the Big Ten Conference. The contest is Michigan’s homecoming game.

The Michigan contest is the second conference game on Iowa’s schedule and both have been selected for television outside of the Big Ten Network. Iowa’s league opening game against Penn State, on Oct. 2nd in Iowa City, will begin at 7 p.m. and will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

Iowa has a bye week prior to facing the Wolverines

With a 3:30 start in Ann Arbor, this game will be played under the lights the second half. I like it...we played good under the lights last year and our beautiful unis and helmets look even cooler under the lights....Go Hawks.

Yes there will probably be lights, but I highly doubt they will be needed as it still doesn't get that dark until around 7 pm in the middle of October and the game will end before that. This game will be over around 7 pm Eastern time.

Correction pal, with the weapons on offense and O'Keefe calling the shots, it will be over around 4:15 pm Eastern time.
