According to Big Ten network statistics for the last 16 years , 89% of Iowa starters have signed NFL contracts. The wins and losses, conference championships, or top 25 rankings do not corroborate this stat.

We are a farm system to the NFL. We have guys who perform / grade well as individuals but due to schematic issues on offense we don’t win as many games as you’d expect with NFL players.
New OC will change that, once he gets a few years of experience.

This number is meaningless to me until you tell how that compares to the other Big Ten schools. Is 89% higher or lower than other schools?

Having a lot of good offensive lineman, defensive lineman and d-backs doesn’t equal wins when the RBs and QBs are average and WRs are FCS level talent. It also doesn’t help when your OCs were Greg Davis and Brian ferentz
