This roster will lose more games than this year did! That's scary! 5-25 anyone?? Word is Cully Payne may not stay now either!
 
What is it that these guys don't like about Fran and/or his system? That is what is surprising to me and what I would like to know. Do we see a different side of coach in public and they see a comletely different side?

These players were recruited by Lickliter and had there hearts set on playing for him and his staff. It isnt weird that incoming recruits would want to leave. Fuller was already going to leave. I dont think you should read in anymore to it
 
Well, Fran had a roster of 7 guys his first year at Siena and he turned that around so this roster is a little better...
 
Actually, I completely understand why Cully would leave. His best friend, Brust, is bailing, Gatens reportedly slammed him, and we all know FM is going to try to find a PG right away.
 
Not to rag on Matt but he seems to be at the center of some chemistry issues on the team....just an observation.

One question. Where would cully go? I guarantee he cant be the starting PG for another major conference school.

If you are not going to play for the coach you wanted, then wouldnt you want to open things back up and try to find another great fit as opposed to just talking to one coach (Fran). Makes perfect sense to me.

After looking around they might like Fran the best but common sense tells you some recruits are going to want to look around
 
For crying out loud. Am I going to have to re-enroll in school to fill a roster spot? I really don't want to run or jump or anything, but it would be nice to travel.

Did Siena play 10 Big Ten teams a total of 18 times, 1 Big 12 team, and a Missouri Valley team coming off a sweet 16 appearance that year?

And they are going to find a better fit in SIX days??!!!! This just shows these kids lacked integrity to play for the University of Iowa. McCabe WANTS to play for IOWA, Brust and Larson don't have that Hawkeye passion. They were more on board for the coach than the team. I don't understand how in six days they will find a better fit for them when the coach they were recruited them in the first place isn't going to be available!

This...is a reasonable point.

Since the last dead period, KY, tosu, and MI have picked up newly available schollys.

If they dont find a better fit maybe they will be back at Iowa
 
The new starting 5 imo(if cully leaves and no recruits are gained):

PG: Marble (played pg senior year)
SG: Gatens
SF: May
PF: Cole
C: Archie/Brommer (whoever fits better with Fran's style)

6. Mccabe
7. Brommer
8. Cougil
9. Neari

In Fran's style this team can win non-conference games, as for the BT schedule i dont predict more than 3 or 4.
