Berkley Edwards: Looking to Power Chelsea Forward - Laces Out : Laces Out
From article:
What are the perks of having a brother who played in the NFL? We should ask Berkley Edwards, the younger brother of Braylon Edwards. While Braylon was tearing up the field at Bishop Gallagher High School in Detroit, Berkley is doing his work for the Chelsea Bulldogs.
This 5’9â€, 189 pound running back doesn’t have his brother’s size, which is 6’3†and 212 pounds last time it was checked. Berkley is a 3-Star running back prospect and is getting national attention in recruiting.
The only issue I see is that he doesn’t have blazing speed for the next level, but his 4.52 40 isn’t bad by any stretch. His real asset will be his strength though. He doesn’t have great height, but he will bulk up when he meets whatever school he chooses strength coach. With ten or fifteen more pounds of muscle, he could be a force. If he can bulk up and keep the speed he has, he could put together quite the career with many broken tackles along the way.
He has also received official offers from California Golden Bears, Iowa Hawkeyes, and from many teams from the MAC.
