Iowa OSU Replay in 40 minutes

How often did Wadley take something that should've been a negative play and turn it into a couple of yards (or sometimes more)? He is a huge reason why a defense that average about a dozen TFL per game coming into this one only managed 3. And 2nd and 7 is SO MUCH BETTER than 2nd and 13.

Also, some on here were claiming that Hesse was not a P5 DE or an impact player earlier in the year. That guy is a stud. What a great DL rotation Iowa has going right now.

Love Stanley shifting in the pocket and changing arm-slots to get the ball out. Everything is starting to look more comfortable.

The "go" on the rugby punt with 5 minutes remaining would have worked huge if the personal protectors would've picked up the only Buckeye with a chance to make the play (2 guys to block #83, both ran by him). I assume those protectors thought the ball would be punted. Is the punter supposed to make a verbal signal if he thinks he can run for it?

It looked like Parker Hesse was playing DT for some plays around 32:00 to 33:00. Hadn't noticed this before.

Yep.. It takes time and repetition and it’s as if people expected a first year QB starter to come in and be polished and that’s just not typically going to happen. It takes time..
