I'm glad it's not 6.5. We were favored by 6.5 against both Minnesota and Northwestern...bad karma is not welcome here.

The Hill kid is impressive....I wanna watch Groce go ape $hit tomorrow night....he really gets it going when he's wound up...just like Fran when he's using Speraw as a punching bag...ala MSU game when he slammed that chair...

On the flip side I believe Iowa was a 6.5 favorite against Maryland as well. I remember thinking it was way way way too high but they ended up covering it easily.

The bigger question is can Iowa win 3 games in a row in the Big, something Iowa hasn't done in 29 conference games dating back to 2014.

The last time Iowa won 3 games in a row it was Jan 9th, 12th and 19th of 2014.

Tonight will make for a great game....quick guards have plagued Iowa at times, and Illinois implodes when they aren't playing well...and Groce goes all schizophrenic.....should make for some good entertainment

Thinking back to the MSU game and now, it seems like Iowa is guarding a little better. Even in the losses to NW and Minnesota. At least to this point, it seems the defensive intensity has picked up, unlike last year when it fell off dramatically at the end.

Hope the fans show up with the weather being dicey. We don't want an almost neutral situation out there.

Then, at least the stands shouldn't be more than half-orange like it was during the Lick years.

Hopefully the weather will keep the Orange Krush away...just don't want to hear the announces talk about them. They haven't made their annual road trip yet so I have to think there's a good chance they are targeting tonight's game.

Iowa is favored by 7 or 7.5 depending on the casino...not much movement. I noticed Indiana is favored by 1.5 or 2 at NW. I think NW wins their 4th in a row.

We all know who Iowa is playing, The question is who is Illinois playing? Just when I think this team is about to get on a roll they come out with a stinker. They just cant afford to lose another home game. Too bad about the weather as it undoubtedly will hold the crowd down from what would have been a sellout (although many of those would have worn orange) Sometimes I think Hawks are a bit snake bitten
