It'll be a hard fought game on both sides. NW is ****** because they lost to PSU, and we should be fired up because of our play this weekend. Iowa still wins as we owe Patty some payback.

They are trash, they choke huge leads away in the second half and let psu's brand new qb pass all over them for over 220 yards and a 7.8 average. Coker or arob will have a 150 yard game and stanzi will have huge numbers. The Defense will treat this game much like early on in the michigan game as there are similarities. No turtling this time either.

I've been thinking about Northwestern and yes, they have had our number, but it seems like every damn year they get some lucky breaks against us. In 05 they had the onside kick late (How often do teams recover onside kicks). In 08' they recovered 4 fumbles and Greene got hurt. (when was the last time Iowa fumbled that many times. I bet it was this game and I bet it was the only game in a while this happened.) In 09 they had the Stanzi injury.
It seems like these guys always keep it close and then get some breaks. We are better than them. We always have been. They have a good coach who keeps it close and then they take advantage of some luck. Play like we should against them this week and we beat them by a couple of scores. I think we win will because the odds of them getting the breaks like they have in most of their wins are low.
I like Iowa winning 27-17. I'll go with that.

Seems as though Northwestern just finds a way to win against us. I say, if our defense gives up more than 21 points we lose. Maybe 24-17 northwestern, & I hate to say that.
